The Moussem Ben Yacoub in Akka Ighan is one of the most significant inter-tribal gatherings in the province of Tata. Held every spring, this deeply rooted religious and cultural event brings together local tribes for 3 to 4 days of pilgrimage, traditional commerce, folklore performances, and fantasia (tbourida). It represents a powerful moment of community bonding, cultural memory, and spiritual renewal in the Saharan heart of the Souss-Massa region. Visitors can witness an authentic slice of southern Moroccan traditions, far from the tourist trails, surrounded by the dramatic landscapes of the Jbel Bani Geopark.
