Our guesthouse is built on a rocky cliff that was once a meeting place for villagers. The sea breeze there was so strong that it would bring tears to their eyes, much like the effect of using kohl to accentuate the eyes. The locals named this place ZOLADO, a Berber name combining Zol, meaning “to apply kohl to the eyes,” and Ado, meaning “wind.”
Located in the rural commune of Tikki, in Ida Outanane, our guesthouse is run by a family who spares no effort to ensure you enjoy a peaceful and relaxing stay. Our restaurant offers a thousand and one flavors of Moroccan cuisine, showcasing local terroir products.
Discovering ZOLADO also means experiencing an introduction to beekeeping, discovering the Inzerki Apiary, and visiting a traditional Berber house. Adventure and outdoor enthusiasts are also well catered for, with mountain biking excursions and trekking opportunities to Mount Touchka.
