Dar Al Khanboubi heritage center is located in Douar Al Khnabib, near Aglou and close to the Atlantic coast north of Tiznit in Souss region. This historic building dates back to the 19th century and has been carefully restored to keep all traditional architectural features typical of Souss houses.
The owner preserved the cultural essence of the house while transforming it into a center of knowledge. Dar Al Khanboubi now serves researchers and students with all the necessary amenities. It is an important intellectual hub reflecting the educational role of the Zaouïas of Souss Al Lima.
Mr. Al Khanboubi generously opened his personal library to guests. The collection includes rare books and manuscripts that highlight the rich literary heritage of the region.
